Outdoor Learning

Forest School Sessions with Ranger Dan

"If children don't grow up knowing about nature and appreciating it, they will not understand it and if they don't understand it they won't protect it. And if they won't protect it, who will ?" Sir David Attenborough.

Research suggests that outdoor learning boosts confidence, social skills, communication, motivation, physical skills and knowledge.

Our Forest School sessions provide purposeful outdoor learning opportunities for exploration, experimentation - contextual learning that enhance our curriculum.

Children feel energised and uplifted after Forest School sessions and we believe they support mental health and well-being by deepening children's connection with nature and promoting engagement in learning.
