Librarians

Each year Miss Whittaker our Reading Lead trains a group of keen readers from Year 6 to be our School Librarians. Working closely with Mrs Goodwin our Library Manager, the Librarians learn how to use the computer borrowing system so they can loan books at lunchtime. They also become very familiar with the library organisation so they can keep the books orderly.

We look for Librarians who ae always avid readers, good communicators and responsible. Librarians are regularly asked to contribute to our Book Club Assemblies by sharing their recommendations and our reading newsletters by writing book reviews.
